Chili Les Savoureux
A comforting chili, rich in flavor… that practically cooks itself
A good chili is the kind of recipe you make once… and enjoy all week long 😍
This one is ultra flavorful, hearty, and packed with taste thanks to the perfect blend of our Les Savoureux Mexican, Cajun, and Italian seasonings.
Vegetarian or made with meat, it adapts to whatever you have in the fridge… but one thing is certain:

🥘 Ingredients (makes about 3.5 L)
1 tsp Les Savoureux Roasted Garlic seasoning
2 tsp Les Savoureux Mexican seasoning
1 tbsp Les Savoureux Cajun seasoning
2 tbsp Les Savoureux Italian seasoning
1 onion, diced
2 large carrots, diced
3 celery stalks, finely diced
2 packages of 340 g textured vegetable protein (meatless)
or 1 ½ lb ground beef
1 can (796 ml) crushed tomatoes
1 can (156 ml) tomato paste
1 can (540 ml) diced tomatoes
1 can (540 ml) red kidney beans, rinsed
1 can (540 ml) black beans, rinsed
2 tbsp sugar
Salt and pepper, to taste
¾ cup frozen corn kernels
🍳 Preparation
Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).
Chop all the vegetables and set aside.
Rinse the beans under cold water until there is no more foam.
In a large oven-safe Dutch oven or roasting pan,
break up the textured vegetable protein with your fingers.
(If using ground beef, brown it lightly first.)
Add all the remaining ingredients except the corn, then mix well.
Cover with the lid or aluminum foil.
Bake for 4 to 5 hours, stirring about once every hour.
Remove from the oven, stir in the corn, and let rest for 15 minutes before serving.
