🥘 Ingredients (Serves 4–6)
- A drizzle of sesame oil
- 2 tsp fresh ginger, finely chopped
- 1 tsp Les Savoureux Roasted Garlic
- 2 to 3 bok choy, finely chopped
- Several green onions, sliced (white and green parts)
- 3 carrots, thinly sliced
- 3½ liters of store-bought chicken broth
- 2 tbsp of Les Savoureux Chicken Style Vegan Broth Blend for added flavor
- About 30 frozen dumplings/wontons (600–750 g)
- 2 tbsp Les Savoureux Thai Blend
Optional but delicious:
- Soy sauce or tamari
- A splash of rice vinegar or lime juice
- Hot sauce (Sriracha or Les Savoureux Grillades)
- Sesame seeds
🍳 Preparation
In a large pot, heat a drizzle of sesame oil over medium heat.
Add the carrots and ginger, and sauté for about 5 minutes to develop the flavors.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Pour in the broth and bring to a boil.
Add the frozen dumplings and cook for 5 to 8 minutes, until heated through and fully cooked.
Add the bok choy, turn off the heat, and let rest for about 5 minutes to soften the greens while keeping their texture.
🍜 Serving
Ladle into large bowls.
Top with:
- Fresh green onions
- Sesame seeds
- A drizzle of soy sauce, rice vinegar, or lime juice, to taste
