In the oven or on the BBQ, this succulent recipe is simple, can be prepared at lightning speed and is loved by my whole family!!!
4 chicken thighs 1 cabbage 1/2 cup oil of your choice 3 tbsp. BBQ seasoning mix
Preheat oven to 375. Cut 4 slices of cabbage about 1 inch thick. In a bowl, combine the oil and BBQ seasoning. Place the cabbage slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and brush with the oil and spice mixture. Place a chicken thigh on each of the cabbage slices and brush the thighs with the oil and spice mixture. Bake at 375 for about 45 minutes (until the chicken thighs are cooked through) and serve. If you choose the BBQ cooking option, since the fat from the chicken thighs can burn, I suggest you use either aluminum foil or a "Cookina" type thigh sheet or cook over reverse heat. Enjoy!
