ONION CHICKEN
We love comfort food recipes!
Here is a very simple and comforting recipe!
2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
1 cup of white wine
2 cups beef broth
½ tsp. xanthan gum or thickener of your choice
5 chicken breasts
Grated Gruyères cheese or cheese of your choice
2 tbsp. tablespoon “Grilled” mixture
Oil
Salt and pepper
In another skillet, grill the chicken breasts, taking good care of the salt and pepper. Once nicely browned on each side, pour the onion sauce over the breasts and cover with Gruyère cheese.
Bake at 350 for about 30 minutes depending on the size of your breasts.
Finish broiling for a well-grilled cheese
Serve with mashed cauliflower, or a side of green vegetables.

4-5 medium onions sliced2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped

PREPARATION
In a skillet, with a drizzle of oil, brown the onions over medium/low heat. Arm yourself with patience to caramelize the onions because it can take a good 15-20 minutes. When the onions are almost caramelized, add the garlic and sprinkle with the grill seasoning. Cook for a few more minutes, then deglaze with white wine and reduce by half. Add the beef broth, xanthan gum and simmer for a few minutes.In another skillet, grill the chicken breasts, taking good care of the salt and pepper. Once nicely browned on each side, pour the onion sauce over the breasts and cover with Gruyère cheese.
