At home, Tex Mex cheese is all the rage! We love it, and we use it for many things!
Did you know that already grated cheeses sold in grocery stores contain cellulose (an additive that absorbs humidity and prevents the cheese from sticking to lumps)... So it's so much better to grate our cheese ourselves, and really more economical too! When your teenagers pass a bag of Tex Mex cheese in 2 days, you find a more economical solution!! I make it ahead of time and it freezes really well.
Homemade Tex Mex cheese
Medium or mild yellow cheddar cheese
1 tbsp or more Les Savoureux Mexican spices
Divide the cheese into equal parts and sprinkle the Mexican spices according to your taste. It's so easy!!!
