Here is our recipe for roast beef, with a succulent and spicy tea sauce.
*Ps: you will see two sauce recipes, classic version (with flour) and keto version (with xanthan gum).
1- Prepare 2 cups of strong Earl Gray tea.
* (If you have smoked tea, it's exquisite!)
2- Preheat the oven to 450˚F
👉 ROAST
3- Mix in a small bowl
1 tbsp Les Savory Organic Steak Seasoning
1 tbsp. mustard powder soup
2 tbsp. tablespoons sugar ( It's also good without 😉 )
4- Spread the mustard mixture all around the roast, and place it on a rack in an ovenproof skillet.
5- Chop 1 onion finely and sprinkle it on top of the roast with 3 tbsp of butter.
6- Bake for 15 minutes. Continue cooking, counting 18 to 22 minutes per pound for rare meat.
* The internal temperature of the roast should be around 55˚.
*Remove the onions approximately after 30 minutes of cooking, if they are cooked enough to your liking, so that they do not burn.
6- Remove from the oven, place the roast in aluminum foil and cover, then leave to rest for 10 minutes.
👉 SAUCE (CLASSIC VERSION)
7- Cook the onion in 1/4 cup of butter. Add 3 tbsp. tablespoon flour mix until a dough forms. Gradually add the tea, stirring with a whisk.

9- Add 2 tbsp. 1 tbsp concentrated beef broth plus 1/2 tsp (more or less, to taste 😉) Les Savoureux organic steak seasoning
9- Cut the roast into thin slices and cover with good sauce!
