BIG MAC STYLE MEATBALLS
Meatballs are always a hit with young and old.
We love them in sauce, in soup, on pasta, etc.
Here, I present them to you BIG MAC style!
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef or veal
2 dill pickles, diced
1 1/2 tsp. tablespoons of the "stuffed bread" mixture
1/2 red onion finely chopped
1 cup grated orange cheddar cheese
1 egg
Salt and pepper
And if you like cheese-bacon burgers, then you can add bacon bits.
BIG MAC Sauce
1 cup mayonnaise
1 C. tablespoon BBQ mix
3 tbsp. tablespoon pickle juice
1 C. yellow mustard
Preparation
In a skillet with a drizzle of olive oil, sauté the onions until translucent. To book.
In a bowl, add the onions, the meat and the rest of the ingredients for the meatballs and form 12 meatballs the size of a golf ball.
In the same pan that was used to cook the onions, cook the meatballs, turning them on each side so that they are well grilled. Cover for faster cooking.
While the meatballs are cooking, prepare the BIG MAC sauce by mixing all the ingredients. To book.
In a presentation dish, place the cooked meatballs and spread the BIG MAC sauce over the meatballs.
Pierce a few meatballs with small skewers so that the guests can help themselves easily.
Watch out for Uncle George, he could eat them all!
