Meat pie with grill seasonings
Thaw a pie in the morning, put it in the oven for 45 minutes while the kids do their homework, and bon appetit!
For the pie dough
3/4 cup almond flour
1/4 cup sesame seed
1/4 coconut flour
1 C. psyllium
1 C. baking powder
1 pinch of salt
3 tbsp. tablespoon coconut or olive oil
1 egg
Preparation of the dough
Mix all the ingredients in a food processor for a few minutes until the dough turns into a ball
* If you don't have a mixer, mix with a fork or with your hands
For the meat
1 finely chopped onion
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
2 tbsp butter or olive oil
1 lb and 1/3 meat of your choice (pork, beef or veal)
1 tbsp grill seasoning
4 tbsp tomato paste
1/2 cup of water
Meat preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350˚
- Soften the onion and garlic in the oil over medium heat
- Add the minced meat and continue cooking until the meat begins to brown
- Add grill seasonings
- Add tomato paste and water
- Lower the heat and simmer for 20 minutes so that the water reduces a little, stirring occasionally
Pie making
- Line a deep pie pan with parchment paper
- Spread the dough in the bottom and on the sides of the mold with your fingers
- Pre-bake the dough for 10 minutes
- Remove it from the oven then add the meat
- Add 2 cups of grated cheese and add on top of the pie
(half cheddar and half mozzarella)
Bake the pie for 30 to 40 minutes on the bottom rack until golden brown ☀️
