POUTINE WITH BBQ SAUCE
Want to eat a poutine while choosing quality ingredients?
It's possible!
You can make your own sauce without breaking your head!
1- Melt in a saucepan 4 to 5 tablespoons of fat (butter or bacon fat)
2- Add 2 tablespoons of BBQ seasoning
3- In the seasoned melted fat, cook a medium onion, diced, over low heat for about 10 minutes. (It should not brown.)
4- Add 2 cups of chicken broth
5- Let simmer gently for 5 to 10 minutes.
6- Pour the broth into a blender. Mix until you have a smooth consistency.
7- Add 1/4 teaspoon of xanthan gum and mix again. The broth will thicken.
You can fry turnips and celeriac cut into sticks, it will be infinitely delicious!
You can also add already cooked bacon grains when serving the poutine 🤤
PS: The sauce also goes very well with chicken or delicious BBQ wings !
