SKOUIK-SKOUIK FRIED
A recipe that is all the rage as an aperitif, and let's not be afraid of words, which is completely dirty...
I'm not a fan of frying, but this recipe conquered my heart and especially those of my boys!!! It is made quickly and with few ingredients, and we like that a LOT :-)
1 cup almond flour
Of course it is possible to take a bread crumb bought in the grocery store and add our BBQ mixture
1 heaping tablespoon of Les Savoureux "BBQ" mix
1 lb fat for frying (I use Tenderflake)
2 beaten eggs
Cold cheese curds - this detail is quite important so that the cheese does not melt
That's all !!!! Marvellous!!!
In another bowl, beat the two eggs together, set aside.
In a saucepan, add the fat and allow to melt and heat.
Tip to check if your oil is hot enough, add a pinch of the breadcrumb mixture and if there are "bubbles" around the breadcrumbs, it's a sign that the oil is hot enough.
Pass the cheese grains in the egg and then pass them in the breadcrumbs. Bake until the "crust" is golden brown and crispy. About 1-2 minutes.
TADAM!!!!! Taste!!!
Serve with spicy mayonnaise!!!!
For a quicker version, coat the cheese curds with the BBQ spice mix and drop the curds into the pan. It will become very crispy :-)< /div>
