Simple and tasty granola
A good homemade granola is a master key!
For breakfast, as a snack, to enhance a dessert and give it some crunch!
Here is my tasty dessert spice granola recipe.
INGREDIENTS
1 cup almonds1 cup walnuts
1 cup pecans
1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
2/3 cup ground flax seeds
1 cup unsweetened shredded coconut (optional)
2 tbsp. dessert spice mix
1/2 cup almond butter or natural peanut butter
1/3 cup of water
3 tbsp. sugar of your choice
1/2 tsp. salt
PREPARATION
In a food processor (or with a knife), coarsely chop the walnuts. In a bowl. Mix all ingredients together and place on a parchment paper lined cookie sheet.
Press the mixture well so as to have 3 "large biscuits".
Put in the oven and cook for 20-25 minutes at 325.
After this time, flip the "big biscuits" (it might break a little, that's okay!!), and bake another 15-20 minutes.
Let cool and break into pieces with your fingers.
Enjoy!
