STUFFED BREADS
Who doesn't love stuffed buns?
With us it is one of the things that disappears the fastest on the buffet table!
The meat mixture can be made weeks in advance and frozen. My mother went so far as to stuff breads and frozen them. When night came, she put the frozen loaves on a cookie sheet and they were perfect.
The sweet "Méchant Piquant" dip
We "savored" a recipe that my mother-in-law makes every Christmas that we all love.
With bugles (you know the species of pointy hats that we put on our fingertips in our childhood?) it's really succulent but on an ordinary crisp it's the ultimate!
PUMPKIN BUTTER
THAI VEGETABLE STIR-FRY
"Enjoy" your cabbage
Here is a way to use this super vegetable, which also has great nutritional properties (rich in fiber, and vitamin C, antioxidant, etc.).
RANCH DIP/DRESSING
Here is a very versatile recipe, which can be used as a dip or dressing!
It can be served with raw vegetables, with BBQ chicken wings , with a gravlax , in vinaigrette for a salad etc...
Ingredients
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup cream or milk
1 1/2 tsp. apple cider vinegar or white vinegar.
2 tbsp. soup of ranch mix
Preparation
In a bowl, pour the cream or milk, add the vinegar and stir lightly (this makes homemade buttermilk).
In another bowl, mix the other ingredients, and add the buttermilk until desired consistency.
Enjoy!
