MEAT PIE
Imagine: Aromas of cloves, holiday season, sweet smell in the house, we were inspired to create a wonderful meat pie recipe.
Like all of our recipes, it's super quick and easy to make!
We got a ready-made dough, which we simply had to roll. We could even have taken the version already extended in the pie plates, it's up to you.
INGREDIENTS
6 potatoes cut into small pieces
5 lbs lean ground beef
7 c. sausage powder
1/2 cup beef broth
PREPARATION
In a skillet, cook the meat and the potatoes. Add sausage mix and broth. Cook with a lid for 15 minutes. (stir from time to time)Cool completely in the refrigerator.
Roll up the dough and line the bottom of 3, 4 or 5 pie plates. (We like our pies very generous, we only made 3!) Usually, it's 1 lb of meat per plate.
Divide the meat among your plates and cover with the second crust. Seal the contour well by crushing with your fingers and making an incision in the center.
Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes to 1 hour, until the pastry is golden brown.
