It's the holiday season! We receive, we cook, we want it to be simple!
Turkey in a few easy steps :)
- 1 onion
- 1/2 lb of mushroom
- 2 lbs of ground pork
- 3 tbsp. sausage powder
2 lbs of carrots (or turnips) in sticks and 6 onions in large cubes
2 tbsp vegetable seasoning
Salt and pepper
In a food processor, cut the onion and mushrooms into very small pieces.
Mix ground pork with sausage powder, mushrooms and onion.
Remove the abas from the turkey and place in a turkey roasting pan, breast side up.
Fill the cavity with the stuffing.
Salt and pepper the visible part of the turkey.
Combine vegetables and seasonings. Sprinkle the vegetables all around the turkey.
Cover the roasting pan, cook 3 to 4 hours, basting occasionally. The turkey meat should fall apart easily and the stuffing should come up to 71 degrees celcius. (by inserting the thermometer to the bottom of the stuffing).
