Are you team mustard with your cretons?
Mustard on the toast or on the creton?
Me it's on creton :-) Don't ask me why, that's how I like to eat my toast with creton.
2 lbs ground pork
1 small onion finely chopped
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
2 tbsp. of our Sausage Powder mix (adjust to taste)
1 C. Dijon mustard
1/2 block of cream cheese
1/4 cup cream
Salt and pepper
A drizzle of olive oil
Sauté the onions and garlic in the oil. Add the meat and sauté for a few minutes. Sprinkle the mixture with sausage powder.
Add 3 cups of water to cover all the meat. Salt and pepper.
Simmer over low heat for 45 minutes
Add mustard, cheese and cream.
Simmer an additional 15 minutes.
For a very creamy texture, pass the mixer foot through the preparation. But do not make it too smooth, to keep pieces of meat.
