THAI BOUILLON FOR FONDUE
A good fondue is so comforting! In good company with good wine is the pinnacle!
This Thai broth will be different from traditional fondue broths with its Asian flavors.
It can also be used to make a Tonkinese-style soup-meal.
INGREDIENTS
2 liters of homemade chicken broth
3 leaves of lime kefir (easy to find in the grocery store in the spice section)
4 tbsp. fish sauce
3 tbsp. soy sauce
3 tbsp. tablespoon of our “Thai” mix
1 can coconut milk
½ red onion finely chopped
1 large clove garlic, finely chopped
1 C. brown sugar of your choice
Salt and pepper to taste
PREPARATION
In a pot, sauté the onions and garlic for a few minutes. Add the rest of the ingredients and bring to a boil. Place in a fondue dish and dip the vegetables and meats of your choice in it :-)
Enjoy!
