COLESLAW
Creamy or traditional?
Me it's Mexican that I like it :-)
I often (read here ALWAYS) have a bag of coleslaw from the grocery store in my fridge.
It's super convenient, it keeps for a long time and who doesn't like coleslaw?
So here's how I give it a Mexican twist.
Ingredients
- A bag of coleslaw
- The juice of a lime
- A drizzle of avocado oil
- Fresh coriander to taste. I know cilantro is not unanimous, but you can also add Italian parsley or the fresh herb of your choice.
- And you "garroche" the Mexican mixture to taste. Starts slow, it's still powerful :-)
Preparation
Mix all the ingredients and enjoy! Simple isn't it?
LAMB CHOPS
Tsé when you have the taste of good food!
The recipe takes a little longer to prepare than our other recipes, so take the opportunity to drink a good red wine with your better half ❤
Lamb chop marinade
- Place in a bag or bowl:
1/3 cup white vinegar
2 tbsp. tablespoon maple syrup or stevia/erythritol
1 1/2 tsp. Spicy Mean Seasoning
- Mix, cover with olive or avocado oil and place in the fridge for 8 to 12 hours. (or more!)
Cooking lamb chops
- Finely chop 3 large French shallots
- Cook the French shallots gently in a pan in 1/8 cup of butter (or more 😉)
- Reserve in a bowl
- In the same skillet (without the shallots), cook the chops over medium-high heat until the desired doneness. (We kept them bleeding)
Serve and cover with butter and shallots

1/8 cup balsamic vinegar
1/8 cup maple syrup (or stevia/Erythritol)
