The egg that meets Holland
Here is a tasty recipe for your weekend brunches, or even weekdays since it's really quick and easy!
INGREDIENTS
Sauce
1/2 cup butter, softened (let's say melted, soft, but not hot!)2 egg yolks
Juice of 1/2 lemon
salt and pepper
BBQ seasoning garnish
PREPARATION
Sauce
Mix egg yolks with lemon juice. salt and pepper.
Add the soft butter and mix.
Microwave on medium power, stirring every 15 seconds, until desired consistency.
The poached egg
In a coffee cup, heat water for 40 seconds in the microwave. Put 1 tbsp. vinegar in water. Add the egg and return to the microwave for 1 minute.So! you have a perfectly poached egg!
Serve egg and sauce on a chaffle (as pictured) and sprinkle BBQ seasoning mix on top. You can serve it without chaffle too, with a side dish of your choice!
