BUTTER CHICKEN Les Savoureux
Yum! Yum! What a delight the flavors and aromas of India!!!!
Your taste buds will be really happy to taste this succulent butter chicken!
2 cups canned crushed tomatoes (freeze the rest for future use)
3 tbsp. tablespoons Les Savoureux “Indian” mix
1 to 2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
1 pinch of chili flakes (for an extra spicy taste, omit if you don't like spicy dishes)
½ cup cream
4 tbsp. butter
3 tbsp. tablespoon sugar of your choice
Olive oil
Salt and pepper
In the same skillet, brown the garlic for a few minutes and add the "Indian" seasoning, the pepper flakes and cook for a few minutes over medium heat. Stir regularly so as not to burn the spices.
Add crushed tomatoes and sugar, heat for a few minutes.
Add the butter, one tablespoon at a time, beating so that the butter is well incorporated. Add the cream and heat gently for a few minutes.
Add the chicken strips and simmer over low heat until the mixture is hot and the chicken is fully cooked.
I like to serve it with cauliflower rice.
