ASIAN PICKLED EGGS
Eggs are good, economical and it's a nice complete protein :-)
Giving them an Asian touch is completely magical.
To accompany a Thai soup, a Thai pad, a poke bowl or simply as a snack.
INGREDIENTS
6 to 8 eggs1/2 cup of water
1 cup soy or tamari sauce
2 green shallots, finely chopped
2 tbsp. tablespoon rice vinegar
1 heaping tablespoon of our Thai blend
1 heaping tablespoon sweetener of your choice (I like to use Swerve brown sugar)
Sesame seed to taste
PREPARATION
In a cauldron, place the eggs add water to cover the eggs and bring to a boil. Lower the ring to medium low heat and cook for about 8 minutes for a "soft" egg.
Since I got my Air Fryer, I like to cook my eggs at 270 degrees for 11-12 minutes.
Once cooking is complete, quickly plunge the eggs into cold water to stop the cooking.
Mix all the marinade ingredients. To book.
Once the eggs have been scaled, plunge them into the marinade and marinate for a few hours.
I like to "sprinkle" the marinade over my eggs once on my plate :-) it tastes so good, don't throw it away for love! Use it as a sauce in a poke :-)
Tasty appetite :-)
